Sponsorship Coordinator
Job Summary
The Sponsorship Coordinator plays a central role in managing child sponsorship
initiatives within the Education for All Program. The ideal candidate will oversee the
recruitment, onboarding, communication, and tracking of sponsors and beneficiaries.
They will ensure accurate documentation, compliance with child protection standards,
and meaningful engagement between sponsors and sponsored children.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination & Implementation
● Manage day-to-day operations of the child sponsorship program across target
communities.
● Maintain a comprehensive database of sponsored children and sponsors,
ensuring up-to-date profiles, photos, and progress updates.
● Coordinate with field officers and school representatives to identify eligible
children based on need and program criteria.
● Ensure effective selection, monitoring, and follow-up of sponsored children.
Sponsor Engagement & Communications
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective
sponsors.
● Prepare regular updates, letters, photos, report cards, and progress stories to
send to sponsors.
● Respond to sponsor inquiries, feedback, and special requests in a timely and
professional manner.
● Coordinate thank-you notes and creative responses from sponsored children.
Monitoring & Evaluation
● Collect and analyze data on the academic performance, school attendance, and
well-being of sponsored children.
● Support reporting, storytelling, and impact assessment for the sponsorship
program.
● Ensure regular reporting to donors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Collaboration & Reporting
● Work closely with the Education for All Program Team, field coordinators, and the
communications department.
● Support fundraising and awareness campaigns related to child education and
sponsorship.
● Submit monthly and quarterly reports on sponsorship statistics and outcomes to
the Program Manager.
Child Safeguarding & Compliance
● Ensure compliance with Realm of Hope’s child protection policy in all
sponsorship-related activities.
● Train field staff and volunteers on ethical interaction, documentation, and privacy
of sponsored children.
Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Development Studies,
Communication, or a related field.
● Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in sponsorship programs, donor relations, or
education-based NGO work.
● Strong project coordination, administrative, and organizational skills.
● Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English; knowledge of local
languages is a plus.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, database management systems, and CRM
tools.
● Passion for child education, equity, and development.
